In reality there is no such thing as failure, unless you quit.  It is truly a rare human being who can tackle a new project and complete it successfully on the first attempt.  Failures on the journey to success are simply learning experiences.  Those who forge ahead, and actually embrace those failured attempts, will succeed.  Those who view failed attempts as "failures" typically give up.  When we give up, we failed to learn from our experience, and therefore, the result is a true failure.

The answer is clear... they give up.  They may not give up completely, but they tend to hop from one program to another looking for that magical opportunity that will actually deliver what they promise - success without effort, success without failure.

What do you suppose happens to the psyche of the person hopping from program to program?  Some continue in this cycle for years.  They become increasingly cynical, but still buy into the hype on some level, and keep spending their money.  These are the gurus favorite people, sometimes referred to as "sheeple" because they just keep following the herd expecting or hoping for a different outcome.

Others will eventually give up entirely, either blaming themselves for not being able to push the right button, or believing that there is no such thing as success on the internet.

A precious few, somewhere in the vicinity of 3% to 5%, will finally come to the realization that there is no such thing as instant success.  They will understand that their success is dependent upon one thing... and that one thing is within them.

Without the "right" mindset, we fail to recognize our so called "failures" as steps toward success.  The successful mindset is so much more than positive thinking, and we know that it is the key to success to, not only our business, but our entire lives.  We value our mindset to such a degree that it is our main priority.  With the right mindset, we know that the "how" will come.  Few people are born with this or raised to live it, and therefore we must learn it.

Charles Haanell, the creator of the famous MasterKey System, first published in 1912 and responsible for most, if not all, of the subsequent training in Law of Attraction theory, stated that learning how to think is the most difficlut work we will ever do.  He further states that is why so few actually do it.  It is no real surprise then that the success rate in business, indeed in life, remains so low.

We must take the time to invest in ourselves FIRST and foremost, and when we do, success in whatever we choose is simply a by-product of our investment.
